Silverstein Bonds / Legal information
Bonds disclaimer and investment information
Premium Bonds, government debt and the limits of this personal bond record.
1. Identity and scope
Silverstein Bonds is a distinct identity within Taylor Silverstein’s website network. It is reserved for his own premium and government bond records. No client assets, subscriptions, orders or deposits are accepted here. Taylor does not manage bond portfolios for visitors or provide investment advice. No FCA authorisation or regulated status is claimed.
2. Published positions
No specific Premium Bond product, government issuer or bond position has been established in the published source record. The empty register means verified holding details have not been published; it is not an assertion that Taylor owns no bonds. No amount, coupon, maturity, yield, credit rating or return has been inferred.
3. Premium Bonds and government bonds
If NS&I Premium Bonds are discussed, they are a savings product with a prize draw rather than a market-traded gilt paying a coupon. NS&I’s Premium Bonds information explains that they pay no interest and that prizes are not guaranteed. NS&I’s Treasury backing concerns its own products; it is not protection provided by Silverstein.
UK government bonds, or gilts, are tradable debt securities. Their terms, market price and purchase price matter separately. The UK Debt Management Office’s gilt explanation describes coupons, maturity and the distinction between nominal value and market price. Other government issuers and products can have different terms.
4. Bond risks and no advice
Market-traded government bonds can fall in price. Selling before maturity may produce a loss, and interest-rate changes and inflation can affect prices or purchasing power. Foreign-currency bonds add exchange-rate risk; the issuer’s obligations and credit risk also need to be considered. A coupon rate is not the same as the yield available at a particular purchase price.
No bond selection, dealing instruction, personalised recommendation or tax advice is provided here. No return or sale price is promised. The DMO’s investor information is an official reference on gilts and their market-value risk.
5. Regulation and protection
Depending on the service, advising on, arranging or managing securities can be regulated under FSMA and the Regulated Activities Order. Business invitations or inducements can fall within section 21 of FSMA. This personal register does not arrange a visitor’s purchase or provide those services; its title and disclaimer are not blanket exemptions.
A product issuer’s promise, NS&I’s Treasury backing and FSCS eligibility are different matters. Protection associated with a separate provider depends on the product, activity and eligibility rules. The FCA’s FSCS and FOS explanation notes that poor investment performance alone is not covered. No such protection is claimed for this website.
6. Sources, external links and accuracy
This is a personal record, not an audited ownership statement, live price feed or valuation service. Holdings information is published only where supported by the record; missing quantities, prices, returns and valuations are not estimated. Official source links are provided within the text. The legal overview was reviewed on 12 October 2026 and should be read against the current wording and commencement dates of the linked sources.
External providers control their own websites, terms and privacy practices. Their names and trademarks identify the organisations discussed; they do not imply endorsement or partnership. Original Silverstein illustrations are decorative artwork rather than representations of assets owned.
7. Website obligations and legal rights
This overview is not an exhaustive legal assessment. Regulatory obligations depend on the actual activities, assets and communications; the website name and disclaimer do not create an exemption. Nothing here removes legal rights or limits liability where the law does not permit it. Where consumer law applies, section 62 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 addresses unfair terms and notices.
Where personal data is processed, the UK data protection principles and Data Protection Act 2018 may apply. PECR rules on cookies and similar technologies include information and consent requirements where applicable. This investment document is not a privacy notice.
